Focus country since 2022

Ukraine has been a focus country for CEE Charity for many years. For example, we support a project in Odessa, which has been managed in cooperation with a local organization for many years. Furthermore, since the outbreak of the war at the end of February 2022, CEE Charity has provided immediate and project assistance.

In addition to Kids Safe Haven and the project in Odessa, new projects are continually being supported.

Every child deserves a safe living environment, quality education, and access to healthcare. Kids Safe Haven supports preschools, primary and secondary educational institutions, hospitals, orphanages, residential facilities, and other social infrastructure, as well as charitable funds. Institutions and facilities can easily submit their application for financial support through a form on the Raiffeisen Bank Ukraine website.

From computers to surgical instruments, shortly after the program's launch in December 2023, grants were already allocated to educational institutions and a children's hospital, among others. Furthermore, school furniture was purchased for a charitable organization, a kindergarten in the Kyiv region was equipped with art, sports, and office materials, and more.

Kids Safe Haven is a program designed to meet the needs of children affected by war. The assistance can be utilized for the following purposes:

  1. Ensuring education and training for children in Ukraine
  2. Ensuring the recovery and rehabilitation of children in Ukraine
  3. Any other financial support to ensure the safety and meet the needs of children in Ukraine affected by combat or in need of assistance
  4. Aid for the repair, renovation of buildings, or other property of the beneficiaries to ensure the safety of children and in the event of damage due to combat operations
