Our Charity has already developed and supported numerous projects in Central and Eastern Europe. Every one of them was only made possible with the help of many volunteers as well as various donors. METRO Group has been standing by our side for many years now by making generous commodity contributions. Among others, METRO sponsored school materials according to the official education plan for our project in Romania, "Ways out of the ghetto". School bags filled with METRO-donations were provided by our local colleagues as part of the staff campaign. More than 100 children could therefore start well equipped into the new school year. In Ukraine, the wholesaler supports the orphanage "Green Grove" with hygiene products such as diapers for the partly severely disabled babies and children.
